TRIO Smartcal's Test and Measurement service specialists repair, service and calibrate all brands of test equipment, including Tektronix, Fluke and LeCroy.

On selected products we provide full NATA calibrations. Having once been the service department for Tektronix when Tektronix had its own operation in Australia,  TRIO Smartcal still has service personnel with more experience related to older products, than any other service centre in Australia.

In addition, TRIO Smartcal is an Authorised Calibration Service Provider for Megger, Kyoritsu and many other brands.

Test Equipment Repairs

If you need repair service for your Test Equipment, TRIO Smartcal can help.  As well as offering support for LeCroy, Tektronix, Fluke, Kyoritsu, Megger and Yokogawa products, we also repair most other brands of test instruments. This makes TRIO your One Stop Shop for Test & Measurement equipment repairs.

TRIO Smartcal is often able to repair obsolete products where other service organisation can not; we can source parts from international suppliers and can service to component level (even on surface mount boards).

All repairs carry a standard 3 month warranty on parts and labour.

When only the Original Manufacturer can service or repair the product, TRIO Smartcal has Service Level Agreements in place with most of the top Test & Measurement manufacturers. This ensures we can get priority with these companies for those repairs.

Calibration Services

A necessary evil? Or just a sticker to satisfy the auditor? In fact, calibration can be as critical to your process as using good raw materials, having well-trained employees, and an efficient design.

It’s also a requirement of ISO9001:2008 (Section 7.6 of the Standard specifically covers the requirements for measuring and monitoring equipment).

An effective calibration service can contribute to profitability by reducing waste, costs and time.

Poorly calibrated instruments may give incorrect information about tested products, and could lead to the belief that either bad products are passing tests (potentially increasing warranty costs) or that good products are failing (which will incur unnecessary rework and 'no fault-found' costs).

It’s a fact of life that electronic measuring equipment can drift out of calibration or partially fail without it being obvious to the user. Regular calibration can increase confidence in the accuracy of the equipment and identify partial failures so they can be rectified before they effect your product quality.

We calibrate a wide range of equipment and can also offer cal contracts to reduce your annual cal costs
